­By placing an advertisement in The SK8 Directory you are agreeing to the following terms:



1. We are grateful for the support of businesses whose advertisements appear in The SK8 Directory

and whilst every care is taken to ensure that information is accurate, we cannot accept, and

hereby disclaim, any liability to any party for loss or damage caused by errors or omissions

resulting from negligence, accident or any other cause.


2. When advertisers book with The SK8 Directory, they are agreeing to pay the current price by the

due date as stated on the invoice. This is currently 15 days net. We understand and will exercise

our statutory right under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 to claim

interest and compensation for debt recovery costs if we are not paid according to agreed

credit terms.



3. We can make no guarantees that an advertisement will be successful therefore we cannot offer

refunds if an advertisement receives no response. The cost of the advertisement covers the cost

of printing and distribution.


4. We undertake to deliver approximately 18,000 copies of each issue of the directory within

the SK8 postal code area. We cannot guarantee deliveries to specific addresses every time.

The distribution area may be altered at the publisher's discretion without prior warning.



5. Advertisement bookings in 3 issues or more may be paid by monthly standing order. For a

Standing Order form, please contact The SK8 Directory Ltd. on 0161 283 6563. If you wish to

cancel your Standing Order, you must inform The SK8 Directory Ltd. before the next deadline

date. Failure to do so may result in your advert being included in the following issue which you

will be required to pay for in full.



6. If an advertisement is designed by The SK8 Directory, there will be a small fee based on the

time taken to create the advertisement. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to ensure we have

the correct information about the business.



7. If an advertiser wishes to use an advertisement designed by us in another publication they must

seek permission from us for its use and a fee may be payable.



8. We take no responsibility for the content of advertisements. It is the advertiser’s responsibility

to ensure the advertisement is legal and copyright free.



9. The SK8 Directory reserves the right to refuse advertisements.
